December 29 2009:
We are currently in the process of meeting with lawyers, looking for availability of the name and writing statutes and a business plan. We hope to be registered in Kampala, Uganda in January 2010.
 
December 30 2009: The name "Light of Hope" is now ours and has been reserved. We are extremely happy for this news!
 
February 11 2010: The money for the registration have been sent to Kampala, Uganda and we should be registered very soon. Dan Katongole is now editing the final copy of the constitution.
 
March 2010: Organizational overview and work plan for 2010-2011 have been added to the website.
 
Landslide tragedy in Uganda, we need donations to reach out and help people. please go to the donation page to help us.
 
March 9 2010: Dan Katongole brings news on the landslide. "Over 300,000 people are homeless, people are suffering, they don`t have food, clothes or a place to sleep. The Kenyan government donated 230 tons of food which was a very positive step," he tells Elizabeth Dallee.
